Heart Blankets

The PERFECT wedding gift... or new baby gift.  The PERFECT layer for snuggling.  Heart blankets come in the following sizes:

  • Throw -  60"X 60" (152x152cm) to 63"x 63" (160x160cm)
  • Small Throw - 60"x 48" (152x122cm)
  • Crib/Lap - 36"x 42" (91x107cm)
  • Stroller - 36"x 36" (91x91cm)

Crispina's Blankets are a single layer of expertly felted, recycled, mostly-wool sweaters (cashmere, alpaca, angora, yak, and mohair are in the mx too).  Squares and shapes are carefully cut and zig-zag stitched eged-to-edge creating a smooth plane that is virtually the same front and back.  All the raw materials seams are on the back of the blanket.  
Blankets are edged in lux fabrics that are sometimes purchased new, ranging from silk velvet, silk satin, extra special vintage cotton prints or other treasures found in my travels.

Gently hand or machine wash with warm water wash and rinse.
Use your normal laundry soap (bio-degradable is best)
Lay flat to dry (fold to fit your surface refolding to allow even drying)
Press with steam while still damp to restore the smooth finish.

Remember, wool is anti-microbial so washing is not frequently necessary.

Store clean in cedar closet or with cedar or lavander to deter moth damage
